Peer Review Committee
All the research activities of the Institute are reviewed and guided by the eminent technical persons from Industry, R&D and Academic fields. They constitute the Peer Review Committee (PRC) of the Institute. They review the R&D activities with the objective of making the Institute a self-sustaining center of excellence. The mandate of the PRC is as under :
- Review the activities of various of the Institute (Project wise).
- Suggest up-gradation of facilities, required if any.
- Identify new areas of development/research.
- Review and recommend R&D project proposals for SSAG, Ministry of Mines.
- Review and recommend the purchase of capital equipments.
- Look into any other scientific matters referred by the Governing Body.
The tenure of PRC is for a period of three years. Present constitution of the PRC is from January 2017 to December 2019. The committee members are a as under :
