Mr. R. Balachandar has over 25 years of experience in rock blasting and excavation engineering. He is an undergraduate in Mining and Mine Surveying and also in Electrical Engineering. He has extensively worked in the areas of controlled blasting in Mining, Hydroelectric and Urban blasting projects. He has authored/coauthored about 120 technical reports and about 50 technical papers in national and international forums. He takes active interest in technology implementation to blasting related industry. He has delivered lectures to practicing Mining and Civil Engineers at various forums as an expert faculty in Rock Blasting.
Mr. Royston A Victor

Mr. Royston A Victor holds diploma in mining engineering and holds NDT Level-II certification. Currently he carries out NDT testing on vital Mine machinery components and wire ropes, Non Destructive Evaluation of HEMM and steel structures. Prior to joining NIRM, he worked as NDT engineer for 8 yrs at Southern Inspection Services Chennai
Mr. D Prashanth Kumar
Scientific Assistant-II
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, joined NIRM in 2014, works in the field of Material Testing, specialized in destructive tests on wire ropes, proof load tests & non-destructive tests on mine machinery components.
Mr. R Prabhu

He is currently associated with destructive test on wire rope samples and other tests in rock mechanics laboratory
Mr. S Babu
Technician-I
Mr. S Babu holds ITI and NDT Level-I certification and is now associated with NDT on mine machinery components and testing of wire ropes both Destructive and NDT
